SMART: Sensing and Mobile Assessment in Real Time
- Goal: Identify digital phenotypes of suicidal thoughts and behaviors, map the dynamic trajectories of suicidal thoughts and behaviors over time, and identify subjective and objective markers of short-term risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviors
- Measurement:
- 600 patients from MGH (300) and FC (300)
- Baseline assessment in hospital
- Followed for 6 months post-discharge to collect fine-grained, real-time data
- Data Streams:
- Active Data-Survey responses and meta-data, voice/audio recordings, cognitive tests
- Passive Data-GPS, accelerometer, gyroscope phone and screen state, WiFi routers, Bluetooth devices, phone call logs, text message logs, magnetometer, proximity
- Data Flow:
- Hash and encrypt
- Store locally
- Forward to server when data connection
